We received this E-mail from day care and need some brainstorming ideas.
Dear Parents,
In honor of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday which is March 2, 2009 we are celebrating with a BANG! We are asking each family to create a hat from your child’s favorite Dr. Seuss book to wear in the Parade on March 2nd .
We will hold our “Annual Hat Parade” at 10:00 am as well as many fun craft projects, songs and stories throughout the day. We are asking for parent volunteers to sign up and read to your child’s class for the entire week. Sign up sheets are posted in each classroom.

How about a little baby hat with a flower stuck onto a curly (pipe cleaner) stem? You know, like Cindy Lou Hoo.

You could try reading some of the Dr. Seuss books and see what kinds of hats they wear.
What about the had Ray gave Dan.....and the flower with the curly (pipe cleaner) LOL
