This past weekend was the big St. Patrick's Day celebration in Hoboken. Andrea was in town and we had friends over our place to hang out and watch the parade. Hoboken gets a little out of control during the celebrations. The lines at the bars start around 8 AM!!! We didnt make it to the bars, but had plenty of fun enjoying green mimosas to start the day off right. We also watched the parade from our stoop, it doesn't get much better than that!

It looks like you guys had a good time! Wow, 8am! Potentially you could be down and out before the parade was over! We're going to HHI for St. Patrick's Day, which should be fun (even if I can't participat in the drinking festivities!)

Don't they know which weekend is actually St. Patrick's Day weekend in Hoboken? Or was the celebaration for Andrea and the whole town was invited? Sounds like a Bill Murray movie a la Stripes. "We're having a party and the whole town's invited!!!"
