I didn't get anything free but I took Emma with me to vote...On the way to the polls I tried to esplain that we were going to vote...she wanted to know where the boat was...i finnaly got her to say OBAMA....but as we drove along she suddenly said to me Auntie Paula i don't want to vote for a boy...(honest to God to prompting from me) of course i was saddened as while i look forward with some joy to this moment in histroy i must admit i wanted another moment.

At any rate Emma and i voted for OBAMA...she wanted to help so I gave her the eraser end of the pencil and told her she could make a line...well she erased my vote...don't worry i fixed it...hope you all voted...maybe Amy can put the pictures i took on the bolg...Auntie Paula

That is Cool. Claire voted too with my dad.

She also chose to vote for Obama. And she voted yes on question 2.

Claire actually got to vote twice! Like Kristin said, she went with Pipere last Friday and Dan took her again today - he even let her push the button to cast his vote.

I left the house this morning at 6:01 to go vote. With only a 2 block walk, I was still the 20th person in our district to vote. But I am glad I went early before the lines get out of control.

I went at 7:45 and was in and out in less than 2 minutes....and I was the 280th person in my district!
